Seminar on the State of the Environmental Movement

SNP co-owner Ben Alexander will participate in a roundtable seminar on the State of the Environmental Movement in 2012,to be held at Evergreen State College in Olympia on May 19 from 10:00 – 2:00, part of several events celebrating Evergreen’s 40th anniversary. Participants will include: Mike Denoyer, President of Grand Canyon Expeditions Company; Esther Lev, Executive Director of The Wetlands Conservancy; Kristin Rowe Finkbeiner, Executive Director/CEO and Co-founder of MomsRising; Dan Tishman, Chairman & CEO, Tishman Construction Corporation; Ed Zuckerman, Senior Vice President of the League of Conservation Voters; and Evergreen State College faculty members Ken Tabbutt and Oscar Soule (Faculty Emeritus). SNP Receives Award

Sound Native Plants is proud to announce that we have received the 2012 Environmental Excellence Award from the Washington State Nursery and Landscape Association. The award goes to those who “significantly improved, protected or repaired the environment through the use of plants and proper horticultural practices.”
